SPR Engenious Limited (SEL)

SPR Engenious Limited., is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shriram Pistons & Rings Limited (SPRL), pioneer in India’s auto component manufacturing sector. Established by SPRL to spearhead diversification and innovation, SEL is poised to drive future growth initiatives. Committed to expanding both existing and new product lines, SPRL aims to enrich its portfolio. Recently, SPRL, via SEL, finalized strategic acquisitions of SPR EMF Innovations Pvt. Ltd., SPR Takahata Precision India Pvt. Ltd. and SPR TGPEL Precision Engineering Limited. These endeavors underscore SPRL’s dedication to evolution and excellence, cementing its position as an industry leader committed to innovation and expansion.

SPR EMF Innovations Pvt. Ltd. (SPR EMFI)

SPR EMF Innovations Pvt. Ltd. (SPR EMFI) is a young Technology Company co-founded by engineering entrepreneurs with substantial R&D and Manufacturing operations in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, and Singapore, thereby providing localized e-mobility solutions to customers in India and abroad. Shriram Pistons and Rings Ltd (SPRL) is now the majority shareholder in SPR EMFI, post the majority share acquisition in SPR EMFI through its wholly owned subsidiary SPR Engenious Ltd. With the Majority shareholding, SPRL aims to expand its presence in Electric Vehicle (EV) space to supply Electric Powertrain Components such as Motors and Controllers covering all the vehicle segments from Two Wheelers, Three Wheelers, Passenger Vehicles, Commercial Vehicles and Buses to both Domestic and Global clients in the Automotive and Industrial sectors.

SPR TGPEL Precision Engineering Limited

Shriram Pistons & Rings Limited (SPRL), a leader in India’s auto component industry, has acquired 100% shareholding in TGPEL Precision Engineering Limited (formerly Timex Group Precision Engineering Limited) through its wholly owned subsidiary, SPR Engenious Limited (SEL). This strategic acquisition further strengthens SPRL’s presence into high-precision mould-making and injection-moulded components, thereby strengthening its capabilities across diverse industries. Post acquisition, the company has been renamed as SPR TGPEL Precision Engineering Limited.
